Life Lived Outside - The Kerby's E-Newsletter

Pat yourself on the back. You made it! You made it through 12 months that none of us expected when we cheered in the new year last December the thirty-first. I was looking back at the end of the year newsletter from 2019 and it makes me chuckle a little bit. At the nursery, we were in planning mode for our 40th Birthday Party, we'd completed our brand-new butterfly house and the butterfly mural was coming along beautifully. The schedule of seminars was set, and we were ready to make spring happen.

And then 2020 decided that it had different plans. What a ride it has been. But here we are, and I don't know about you, but I am ready to be hopeful for 2021. Though I have to admit I did drag my feet on buying a 2021 calendar. For a bit, I just wasn't ready to commit to a new year. But we're tough now, we've been through a lot. I'm ready now and I know you are, too.

So, come on 2021. Let's see what you've got, because we have a secret weapon . . . our gardens. When things seem stressful and beyond your control, your garden is always there with flowers to lift your soul, herbs and veggies to nourish your body and soil to connect you with the earth. How lucky we are to have a place like that.
