Don't you think dad would love
a citrus tree for Father's Day.
All Fruit Tree - 10% Off

Don't forget the person who taught you all about fun in the garden. This weekend is Father's Day and Kerby's has great gifts for dad. Earthbox kits are in stock and are a great way for dad to have fun growing herbs and vegetables. Or why not a delicious fruit tree. This month, all fruit trees are 10% off and there are lots of cool trees to choose from. Yummy avocados or citrus, and lots of cool fruits like barbados cherry, caimito and black sapote. Come check them out and then pick one out for dad. Help him plant it this weekend and you'll be able to enjoy tasty fruit in the years to come from the fruit tree you planted together. That sounds like a fun Father's Day.

The passion flower is a cool flower and the vine is a host plant for the zebra longwing and gulf fritillary butterflies.
10" Pot - $24.99

If gardening isn't dad's thing, maybe you just need to get out of his hair for a little bit. And what better way is there to spend an afternoon than planting a butterfly garden. The monarchs are out in force, devouring milkweed and feeding on all of the beautiful flowers at the nursery. Lots of swallowtails, zebra longwings and fritillaries have been spotted as well. Kerby's has all the plants you need to create a lovely butterfly garden and when you've planted the beautiful garden, I'll sure dad will enjoy watching all of the butterflies with you.

Happy Gardening,

Passion Flower
Passiflora spp.

The passion flower is a beautiful vine that grows in sun or shade. It will quickly fill an arbor, trellis or fence with lush foliage and in summer the gorgeous flowers appear. From red to purple, the unique flowers are a treat for the eyes and a lovely addition to a butterfly garden. Planted in the sun, the passion flower's leaves are a food source for the gulf fritillary butterfly and planted in the shade it is a food source for the zebra longwing butterfly.
