How are your gardens and landscapes liking all of this rain? If they are anything like ours, they are probably soaking it in. The rain is especially helpful for new plants, since you don't have to remember to water every day. Take advantage of the regular rains and plant a new fruit tree, grape vine or put together a lovely 4th of July garden with red, white and blue flowers and pottery. And don't forget, all fruit trees are 10% off, including a new shipment of mangos that just arrived. If the shady areas of your garden need a little sprucing up, all azaleas are 25% off and camellias are 40% off (while supplies last). Happy planting and have a fun and safe 4th of July holiday. Kerby's will be open on the Fourth from 9am to 1pm, and we'll be open regular summer hours all weekend long.

Dutchman's Pipevine Aristolochia x The dutchman's pipevine is often overlooked when a butterfly garden is being planned. But it is a great addition for anyone serious about seeing all of the beautiful butterflies that our area has to offer. The pipevine grows rapidly on a fence, arbor or trellis and provides tons of food for pipevine and polydamus swallowtail caterpillars. Plus the unique flowers add a great conversation piece in the garden. Currently, Kerby's has the traditional pipevine (pictured), giant pipevine and rooster flower in stock. |
