Great-Grandma Kerby and her
grandchildren Sean, Kim and Mark.
At this time last year, I was writing a newsletter
about an incredibly special birthday - Great-Grandma Kerby's 100th. Would
you believe that the Kerby family was lucky enough to celebrate another
birthday that you just don't see everyday: 101. That's right
Great-Grandma is 101. Born in 1915, it's mind-boggling to think of all of
the things she's seen over that span of time. We are incredibly lucky to
continue to have her in our lives and are so thankful that our children
continue to have the chance to make memories with her.
Besides celebrating a special birthday, we all had a great Christmas weekend
and hope that you did as well.
For us, it was busy as always, with stops at multiple houses and ending with
two really tired little girls. But I don't think we'd have it any other way.
I just don't think there is such a thing as too much family (or is there . .
.) But now as we recover from the Christmas festivities, we look forward to
a new year and new adventures. We are keeping busy at the nursery building
tables, reorganizing and getting ready for the next spring season. Of
course at this point, it is looking less and less like we will have much of
a winter. (Have you seen all of the trees blooming around town?) So if you
are itching to get out in the garden, come on out and see us. We'll be here
9am - 5pm Tuesday through Friday, 9am - 12pm on Saturday and closed on
Sunday to celebrate the New Year. We hope you continue to have a wonderful
Larry and the grandkids
on Christmas morning.
and Happy New Year,
The Kerby's Nursery Family
